A plain carved section of oak likely from a roof truss/support, possibly 16th century or later, 21" in length, 12.5" (31cm) deep, 11.5" (29cm) high. A fine piece of well-seasoned timber from which to carve. Footnote: Sold by kind permission of the Dean and Chapter of the Cathedral and Abbey Church of St Alban. Furniture and effects no longer required and from long term storage in the cockloft at the cathedral. Payment is by bank transfer. Collection must be made Friday 17th midday-3pm or Saturday 18th 9.30am - 12.30 (you will need to show a paid copy invoice when collecting)
